Sharon received her Master's in Health Science (Speech-Language Pathology) at the University of Toronto in 2002. She worked in Neuro/Geriatrics/Palliative Care for 5 years at St Joseph's Health Centre, specializing in dysphagia. Sharon started at NUH in 2008 in the ENT - Head & Neck Surgery Centre, working with people who have dysphagia due to Head & Neck cancer, as well as Voice and LPR patients.
She has been a clinical educator since 2004 and currently teaches Acoustic Phonetics to both undergraduate Speech Therapy students at SIT and Audiology students in the Master's program at NUS.
