Winnie completed her basic specialist training in diagnostic radiology and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists, UK. She completed her advanced specialist training in nuclear medicine in 2009 and has since been contributing in various aspects of clinical service, education and research in the Department of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging at Singapore General Hospital. Notably, she was the inaugural Program Director of the National Nuclear Medicine Residency Programme from 2012 to 2018 when she established and developed to programme, leading it to achieve the award of Best JCST Programme in SingHealth in 2018. She also served as the Director of Operations and as member on various committees. Currently she is serving as Head of the Department. She helped to develop the PSMA PET imaging service in SGH in 2015 and PSMA-targeted radiologand therapy (theranostics) since 2018.
