My name is Dr. Chen Tseng-Cheng, and I am currently serving in the department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, National Taiwan University Hospital. My main clinical service areas focus on the diagnosis and surgical treatment of different head and neck tumors. The diagnosis part of my profession mainly focuses on the practice of head and neck endoscopy and ultrasound, including the collection of various head and neck tissue samples. The surgical treatment part of my profession mainly focuses on oral, throat, salivary gland and thyroid tumor operations, via endoscopic surgery and open surgery. About my past and interesting research, my previous research focuses on head and neck tumor pathology, epidemiology such as epidemiology of head and neck precancerous lesions, and clinical statistical analysis of head and neck tumors. I graduated from the Department of Medicine of Kaohsiung Medical University and then served in the Department of Otolaryngology at National Taiwan University Hospital. The highest education is a Ph.D. from the Institute of Pathology, National Taiwan University School of Medicine. The doctoral program is also specialized in the research of head and neck tumor pathology and molecular pathology. In 2015, I went to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas as a visiting scholar, and participated in the research on the basic and translational medicine of head and neck cancer.
